Musculoskeletal Problems
A child’s musculoskeletal system differs from the adult musculoskeletal system in many ways, due to the growing and developing body.
Musculoskeletal pain or discomfort can be acute (new) or chronic (longer term) felt in the muscles, ligaments, tendons, and/or bones. It is common during childhood, and is often caused by growth spurts, minor injuries, poor posture, or repetitive stress.
