Apprenticeships

We offer a range of apprenticeship opportunities to both new and current colleagues with many career paths to choose from whether they are clinical or non-clinical.

Become a BCHC Apprentice

Here at Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, we are committed to creating a great place to work and learn, enabling our colleagues to be the best that they can be. We offer a wide range of apprenticeship opportunities to both new and current colleagues with many career paths to choose from whether they are clinical or non-clinical.

Becoming an apprentice within BCHC will give an individual the opportunity to combine on-the-job training with studying whilst gaining a qualification relevant to a chosen career, with anything from business administration to physiotherapy.

Whether you are looking to start your career or searching for a change, community services are a key part of the NHS of the future. Be part of that future now. Join us and help achieve better care and healthier communities.

What is an apprenticeship?

An apprenticeship will give an individual the opportunity to combine on-the-job training with studying and gaining a nationally recognised qualification in a chosen career with no tuition fees.

As an apprentice works within a paid job, they will gain valuable experience and will spend 20% of their time completing learning with a college, university or training provider.

Anyone over the age of 16 in England who is looking to kickstart, upskill or change their career can become an apprentice.

Our patients and their carers and families are the reason we're here, so we want to hear your views about the Trust and our services.
