Important Update: Transition to the New Patient Portal

 Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHC), in partnership with the Birmingham and Solihull (BSOL) Collaborative and other Midlands stakeholders, is transitioning to a new patient portal: the Shared Care Record (ShCR) Patient Engagement Portal (PEP). This shift is part of a region-wide initiative to enhance how you access your health records and communicate with our healthcare team.

 

 

What this means for you

• New platform : the ShCR PEP will replace the existing portal, Portasana, providing an improved experience and better integration with our services.
• Continued access : you’ll still have secure access to your health records, appointment management, and key features.
• Transition dates : the switch to the ShCR PEP will start soon. Registered users will receive email notifications with further details and instructions.

 

 

What you need to do

• No immediate action required : we will guide you through the transition process. Watch for email updates with instructions on accessing the new portal.
• Stay informed : Please check this page and your email regularly for updates. Our support team is available to assist as needed.
