    BISC: assessment and advice for adults with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) including strokes and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).

    The Central Booking Service receives the referrals for the Community Paediatrics Service and Therapy Services.

  5. Child Development Centres

    There are 4 Child Development Centres (CDCs) within the city of Birmingham, managed by the Children and Families Division, within Inclusion Services.

  6. Child Health Information System (West Midlands)

    Working in partnership with NHS England, colleagues within the children and families division of BCHC, other NHS organisations and the local authority, the child health department provides administrative and information services to universal nursing services and GP Practices throughout the city.

  7. Children in Care Team

    The service is for all children who are in the care of Birmingham Local Authority. The service will also see children placed in Birmingham from other authorities.

  8. Children's Complex Care

    Home-based specialist care and support to children and young people with life limiting and/or long-term, complex conditions.

  9. Children's Nutrition and Dietetic Service

    We provide nutrition services across Birmingham for conditions including diabetes, malnutrition, stomach and digestive problems, allergies, food sensitivity and obesity.

  10. Children's Rapid Response Service

    Aims to prevent children and young people with acute illness or deterioration in their condition from being admitted to hospital or attending A&E.

  11. Community Children's Nurses and Palliative Care

    The service works to enable children with life-limiting or life threatening conditions to be cared for at home.
