Latest updates for BCHC temporary staff

The BCHC Trust Bank are very pleased to announce that the Trust Executive Board have agreed the pay award to bring the Trust Bank in-line with the new National Minimum Living Wage. These changes will be effective 1st April 2024 and any outstanding payments will be backdated to this date.

 

The Temporary Staffing Department has been instructed to work with our payroll colleagues to ensure that these rates are updated without further delay and any backpay issued in a timely manner. As such we fully expect that all backdated payments will be received directly into your bank account within 2 weeks of this communication.

 

The agreed changes are as follows:

Band	2023-2024 Rates	2024-2025 Rates
Band 2	£10.88	£11.44
Band 3	£11.31	£11.89

 

These rates are at the basic rate only and includes the 12.07% WTD payment, which is also paid on top of this basic rate.

 

The Temporary Staffing Department acknowledges that this uplift in payment has taken some time since the government announced the increases the National Minimum Living Wage. However, we would like to confirm that we have been working really hard in the background to identify how we are able to amend the pay structure.
