Our team of orthoptists and optometrists specialise in assessing and treating child vision and eye co-ordination problems across South Birmingham.
Down Syndrome Clinic
Every month, we form part of a multi-disciplinary team at Allens Croft Children’s Centre offering a ‘one stop shop’ for children and parents of children with Down Syndrome.
Along with the Paediatricians, the child is offered an audiology examination, dietary advice and an eye assessment.
Parents can also access help/advice/signposting/form filling etc through representatives from the National Deaf Children’s Society and the Disability Resource Centre.
This is a relatively new clinic and further Services are hoped for in the future.
It is very important to us that parents can meet other parents to discuss, learn and share from their experiences.
