Integrated neighbourhood teams set to improve access to local health and care services

Two integrated neighbourhood teams including GPs, district nursing and therapy teams, mental health professionals, voluntary services, social care and other council services are being trialled in Birmingham to help improve joined up care and support across the city.

Arts in Health Boost for Team BCHC

Thanks to a generous donation administered through the Charities Aid Foundation, we have been able to create and deliver a far-reaching, accessible, and participatory arts and cultural programme for both colleagues and patients. The aim is to increase engagement, reduce social isolation and boost morale following the pandemic.

Winter Support Bags for Vulnerable Patients

Thanks to generous donations from the Neighbourhood Network Schemes based in Yardley, Hodge Hill and Sutton Coldfield, the Eric W Vincent Trust Fund, the Community District Nursing team charity fund, and a donation in memory of Mr Alan Wilson, BCHC Charity has been able to provide winter support to vulnerable older patients on the District Nursing caseload.
