About our Council of Governors

Our Council of Governors is comprised of people elected by staff, public members and partner organisations to hold the Trust Board to account. They represent both the interests of staff, the public (and our service users) as well as partner organisations.

Governors are elected or appointed for a term of office of three years. When that term of office has finished, they can stand for re-election (or if a partner governor be re-appointed by their organisation), but only for a maximum of nine years (i.e. three terms).

Our patients and their carers and families are the reason we're here, so we want to hear your views about the Trust and our services.
