Anji features in new Invest in Physiotherapy Apprenticeships video

Anji physio session with a patient

Today (Thursday 13 February) the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) launches its ‘Invest in Physiotherapy Apprenticeships’ video, showcasing the benefits of apprenticeships.

The video features our very own Anji Midha, Physiotherapy Apprentice, as well as representatives from other apprenticeships programmes and is designed to encourage more employers to offer apprenticeships.

Physiotherapy apprenticeships deliver confident, high-performing staff and help tackle issues with retention and recruitment by offering clear career pathways.

In England, degree apprenticeships provide an alternative training route to becoming registered physiotherapists, especially for individuals who face barriers in accessing traditional degree programs.

Meanwhile, apprenticeships at other levels in England and Wales enable existing staff to enhance their skills and grow within their roles, fostering a culture of continuous development.

Physiotherapy apprenticeships offer more than individual growth, they benefit employers, the physiotherapy profession and local communities. Apprenticeships help build and develop a diverse, skilled and motivated workforce that meets community needs.

Mindy Dalloway, Campaigns Officer for the CSP in the West Midlands said:

“We were delighted to visit BCHC to hear how Anji has benefitted from the apprenticeship opportunity and how it has helped her own development as well as the service she delivers to patients. Anji was fantastic to work with and we want to say thank you to the team at BCHC for supporting this project which we hope will raise awareness and take-up of physiotherapy apprenticeships.”
