Thanks to funding from employment and training charity Landau, BCHC Charity has been able to deliver Makaton training to support families with their communication needs.

Thanks to kind donations and fundraising, the Enhanced Care Team at West Heath Hospital have been provided with supplies to help them offer fun, relaxing, and mindful activities to inpatients at the hospital.

Thanks to generous funding from the Police & Crime Commissioner, BCHC Charity have been able to fund 50 ‘survival kits’ for victims of domestic violence (DV).  

Thanks to funding from the Northfield and Edgbaston Emergency Assistance & Supplies Fund, BCHC Charity has been able to provide food and cooking equipment to families residing in hotels across Birmingham.

Over the last 2 years, BCHC Charity has hosted 4 educational events at the MAC Birmingham in order to help care for our community.

Thanks to generous donations, two NHS Charities, BCHC Charity and Caring Minds, have been able to fund the creation of a beautiful Garden of Reflection on the Moseley Hall Hospital site for patients and staff to enjoy.   

BCHC Charity are very proud to have funded the Book of Inspiration project using funding from the Arts & Culture In Health scheme.

During Learning Disabilities Week, we’re taking a look at just a few of the projects funded to make a difference for LD service users.

To honour the hard work and difference our volunteers have made to the lives of staff and service users alike, BCHC Charity hosted a celebration event at the MAC Birmingham on Wednesday 5 June.

Thank you to everyone who has given their time to help us in making a difference for BCHC patients, service users and the staff who treat them.

Thanks to a fundraiser in memory of Jim Williams, BCHC Charity have been able to provide Ward 8 with ‘extras’ to enhance patient rehabilitation and care.

Thanks to funding from NHS Charities Together, BCHC Charity has been supporting early intervention projects across the Trust to promote healthy living.
